We do not breed very often but when we do our goal is to produce sound dogs who conform to the AKC breed standard, which allows them to excel in both the field and show ring. All puppies born into the Fortius Vizslas family remain loved for life. We enjoy keeping in contact with owners to see how their dogs are doing.
Our puppies are raised in the home where they receive much socialization from adults and children. We conduct temperament and field evaluations to ensure we place the right puppy in the correct "forever" home. Puppies will have tails docked, dew claws removed and be up to date on vaccinations. For puppy vaccination, we follow Dr. Jean Dodd's vaccine protocol.
Current Litters
Our breedings are carefully planned. At the moment, we are currently expecting a litter out of our girl "Ivy" (CH Trailside 1937 Hunt for Red October). In July, she was breed to “Scout” (NCH 2XCH 3XRUCH FC CK Post Route Scout). Puppies are expected on or around September 12th. Ivy has her confirmation (show) Championship and Scout has numerous titles in the field including but not limited to American Field and American Kennel Club titles - National Champion (NCH); 2 times Champion (2XCH), 3 times Runner-Up Champion (3XRUCH) and Field Champion (FC).
